NFI(Nuclear Fuel Industries, Ltd) has contributed to be domestic MOX fuel project of JNFL(Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited) from the beginning NFI utilired it's extensive operating experience for its uranium fuel fabrication facilities for PWR and BWR fuel and also established engineering cooperation with foreign MOX fuel fabrication companies.
Responding to the request from JNFL which has the mission to establish a nuclear fuel cycle in Japan, NFI is dedicated with all their ability to support the design, construction and commissioning of JMOX taking full advantage of its high safety culture, reliability and international competitiveness.
NFI also cooperates closely with JNFL on the JMOX operator education and expects to participate in the safe and efficient operation of the facility after the start-up.
